Toshiba MG07ACA14TE 14TB SATA Enterprise HDD — Grade A Refurbished
14TB SATA 6Gb/s · 7200 RPM · 3.5". Grade A refurbished, 12-month warranty, tested and reported before dispatch.
months warranty. Replace or refund. The regional norm is 90 days. Sanitised by our supplier to NIST SP 800-88 Purge before it reaches us.
Drive report
PendingThis drive has not yet been through our bench. Every drive is tested before it ships. You receive your unit's own report by email at dispatch: serial, health, performance, and the reallocated, pending and uncorrectable sector counts. We keep it on file for you permanently. Ask us for it at any time, before or after you order.
We would rather show you nothing than show you a number we have not measured.
Model specification
Manufacturer figures for the MG07ACA14TE platform. These describe the model as built. The numbers that describe your drive come with the drive.

14TB enterprise SATA · Grade A refurbished · 12-month warranty
Toshiba MG07ACA14TE. Helium-sealed, 9-disk, conventional magnetic recording. Not SMR, not a shucked external, not a desktop drive with an enterprise sticker on it. This is the drive that ran in the rack.
What you get with your drive
Enterprise drives are sold by the model number everywhere. The difference here is what arrives with yours.
- Your drive's own SMART report, emailed at dispatch, tied to the serial number on the unit we send you: health, performance, reallocated, pending and uncorrectable sectors, and power cycles.
- The report on file, permanently. Ask us for it any time, before you order or two years later, and we will send it.
Nobody in this market publishes per-drive data. We do, and we do it against the specific unit in your hands rather than a model-level claim.
How every drive is checked
01 · Sourced Grade A, serial recorded. Drives come from a single Sharjah supplier, certified Grade A and sanitised before dispatch, and every unit is listed by serial number on the invoice we receive. Nothing enters stock without a serial we can trace back to that document.
02 · Tested here, against its own serial. We run our own SMART capture on every drive before it is offered. Not the supplier's. Ours. We read health, performance, reallocated sectors, pending sectors, uncorrectable errors and temperature, and we record the reading against the serial on the drive body.
We do not reset counters. A drive's history is the reason to trust it, so we keep it rather than erase it.
03 · Your report ships with the drive. The reading for your specific unit is emailed to you when the drive is dispatched, and kept on file permanently. If you want it again in eleven months, ask and it is there.
Data sanitisation
Drives are sanitised by our supplier to NIST SP 800-88 Purge before they reach us. Purge is the level at which recovery is considered infeasible using state-of-the-art laboratory techniques, executed with the ATA Secure Erase or Sanitize command set. Those are firmware-level operations, so they reach areas a logical overwrite cannot: sectors that have been mapped out, the drive's overprovisioned space, and any host-protected or device-configuration overlay areas.
We do not cite DoD 5220.22-M. It was retired as a specified method years ago, and quoting it reads as dated to anyone who works in this field.
We are describing our supplier's process, not certifying it ourselves. We do not perform the wipe and we do not issue a per-drive sanitisation certificate. If your compliance records need documented chain-of-custody sanitisation evidence, ask us before ordering and we will tell you honestly what we can supply.
One honest limitation
SMART evidences a drive's present health and its workload history. It does not predict the moment a drive will fail. Anything you cannot afford to lose should be backed up whatever grade it carries.
This batch
All units in current stock were manufactured in 2019 and pulled from datacentre service. They reach us certified Grade A by our supplier. Each one is checked here before it ships. We do not take the supplier's word for it, and neither should you.
SMART counters are never reset. What the drive reports is what we record.

Packing
Anti-static bag inside a foam-lined box rated for drive shipping. Drives break in ways that do not show on the outside of a carton.
Check it yourself on arrival
We would rather you did. Run CrystalDiskInfo or Hard Disk Sentinel, and compare what it reports against the report we sent you for that serial. The figures should match.
If they don't, tell us immediately. That would be a serious failure on our part.
Twelve-month warranty
If a drive fails within 12 months of delivery, you choose: replacement or refund. No restocking fee, and you do not need the original packaging.
What the warranty does not cover: your data. A hardware warranty covers hardware. Every drive fails eventually, new or refurbished, and no warranty brings data back. If the contents matter, they must exist in more than one place. That is not us being careful with wording. It is the most important sentence on this page.
